It is the only via ferrata in Europe suspended over the sea. It is located at Cala del Molí, in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, an inaccessible spot if you want to get there in a conventional way. To explore this place, you will need to take the via ferrata: a route over the rocks with iron elements that you use to climb, at the same time as overcoming other obstacles.
Its creators, Parc Aventura Sant Feliu de Guíxols, have made this particular suspended route with families in mind. The via ferrata of Cala del Molí has two sections of low-medium difficulty that can be done by all members of the family (it is recommended for children aged 12 and over) in about two and a half hours.
The enjoyment begins before you get there: access is via a windy road that curves its way between fishing villages, coves and cliffs along the coast of the Costa Brava.
Along the way you will find steps, cable bridges and rails that will help you complete the route. By means of a horizontal cabling system you will be secured at all times and can enjoy the landscape, the wildlife and the privileged views with the sea at your feet.
