In search of the Roca Foradada in Muntanyes de Prades

Add to my Wish List

In this activity, it’s your turn to don your explorer’s outfit! It is a self-guided excursion to visit the Roca Foradada with children, a beautiful natural arch created by the erosion of wind and water in a red stone in the Muntanyes de Prades Protected Area.

The departure will be from the Prades Park campsite, a first-class family mountain campsite located in the town of Prades, where you will be provided with a map with hidden tracks and convenient instructions to reach the point you have marked on the map.

To get there you will need to follow the main dirt road that will take you directly to the Roca Foradada recreation area, where you will find a large pond with frogs and fish and an area with wooden tables and benches to recharge your batteries or have a picnic. The whole route is very easy to do with children, the gradient is not too tough, and it makes for a comfortable walk. If you find the clues and the rock, you’ll receive a prize!

Why not really enjoy your time away and spend the night at the Prades Park campsite where you can enjoy its facilities and discover other points of interest in the area. The campsite has 30,000 square metres, with 200 pitches, an area for motorhomes, bungalows and free camping areas, an outdoor heated swimming pool for adults and children, a games room, sports courts, a children’s park and entertainment, among other services. For accommodation with your family, you can’t beat it.
