Cycling, nature and family are the three magic words that will captivate your children! Just hearing them changes their faces, because they’ll know something exciting is about to happen. And they’ll be right! A mountain bike route awaits them from Pla de Beret, passing through the Montgarri sanctuary to the town of Esterri d’Àneu. It is a 36 kilometre route through the heart of Valls d’Àneu. Yes, 36 kilometres, but it’s not what you think…
A taxi from the Esierri Bikes & Ski company will take you up to Pla de Beret – approximately 35 minutes through panoramic views – the highest point of the walk, at an altitude of more than 1,800 m. From here you will start your ride on a relatively clean and wide track, which is almost downhill all the way to Esterri d’Àneu. This way you can do the route as a family and calmly take in the Pyrenean landscapes on your bikes.
To do the activity you don’t have to worry about anything, you just need to book in advance and Esierri will take care of the transport, the bike rental and your guide. Have you ever heard of an easier mountain biking route?
