Come with your family to Malgrat de Mar, much more than just a village

Would you like to enjoy a family day out that includes a combination of sport, nature and fun? Start at the Delta de la Tordera. This environment is not only ecologically valuable, but is also home to a large number of habitats and animal and plant species typical of coastal aquatic life.

Here you will meet Clara, a biologist with a passion for nature, who will show you the different species of birds that live in this protected area. Let her reveal all the secrets of birdwatching, the most popular activity in the Tordera Delta. Also, she will teach you about the behaviour of the grey heron, the flamingo, the chivitona, the tern and other common birds of the delta, as well as the small trail or the black-faced duck trail.

After that, Monica will be in charge of the second activity of the day: a paddle surfing trip in family. You will enjoy paddle surfing close to the coast from the beach of Malgrat de Mar where you will do a bit of exercise. In fact it is not a very complex sport to practice, you just have to keep your balance and enjoy the coast of Costa Barcelona.

Once you finish this activity, there is a reserved table waiting for you in a local restaurant, where you will enjoy a gastronomic menu. After lunch, take the opportunity to stretch your legs and have a walk in the Francesc Macià Park.

This magical and unique space is ideal for fun with skateboards, sensory games, picnic areas and giant figures, taken from traditional children’s stories, to enjoy it immensely! Children can play with the boots of the “Gat amb botes” or climb on a giant piece of cake or an eraser. The park is completely enclosed to ensure children’s safety and the entry is free of charge.

The activity lasts all morning and includes bird watching, paddle surfing and lunch. The meeting point is the Tordera path.
