The Countess of Molins de Sant Pere Pescador
In Sant Pere Pescador, Teresa Molins, known as the Countess of Molins, is a legendary character. This bandit used the title only as her nom de guerre. After Sant Pere Pescador fell to French troops during the French War, she was left with nothing and decided to become a bandit. Along with her gang, the Countess devoted herself to attacking rich people who travelled along the royal roads, and then she distributed the loot among the poorest. Tired of this life and of all adventures, she shut herself away in a convent for a while, but they kicked her out because of her bad reputation, so she decided to return with the bandits to Quermançó Castle where they lived. After so much time apart, the friendly atmosphere gave way to betrayal, and one day the Countess decided to burn the castle and disappear.
