Children are fascinated by animals. With this in mind, it’s almost impossible for your children not to enjoy this family getaway: a visit to a farm!
In the heart of La Vall d’en Bas, the people of Mas la Coromina await you to teach you about what life is like as a farmer and visit the farmyards where they take care of the chickens, pigs, rabbits and cows. You will be able to touch the soft skin of the calves, feed the dairy cows and watch them being milked.
Great care is taken over the farm visits: very educational explanations are given, which are designed for children to understand the particularities of life in the countryside. They complement this with a multipurpose space, where staff will show you, through games and workshops, the life and metabolism of cows and the richness and properties of milk. The day always ends with a milk tasting, and you will also be able try other milk products.
When you are there, you must ask about the history of the farm as well. Today it is managed by Isabel and Albert, the third generation that has passed through Mas la Coromina.
The farm has been operating for more than 50 years, when they had just two cows, and it has evolved into a farm with more than 400 head of cattle today.
