Very cultural excursions
The coast is sea, beach and also culture. The Sant Pol Campsite, in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, organizes a number of outings to acquaint you with curious corners of the Costa Brava.
Prehistory appears on the visit to the megalithic dolmens of Romanyà de la Selva. Awaiting you in Sant Feliu de Guíxols are the Benedictine monastery combining architectural styles from the 5th to the 18th century and the paintings of the Carme Thyssen Space (located in the Sant Feliu de Guíxols History Museum) where exhibitions are held every summer until the Thyssen Museum has its permanent space in 2020.
The campsite’s itineraries such as the Camí de Ronda (patrolling peripheral walkway) to Cala Sa Conca beach will also allow you to discover the importance of these trails for connecting towns and saving fishermen in the case of a shipwreck against the rocks.
