The Taylors combine nature and culture
The sun is just peeking over the horizon as the Taylors jump onto their bikes. They will cycle along a stretch of the Terra Alta Greenway which runs between the villages of Horta de Sant Joan and Pinell de Brai. It is a leisurely ride to take in the scenery.
The day before, they seized the opportunity to learn about artist Pablo Picasso’s time in this area and how it inspired his work. The Taylors had been planning this getaway to Catalonia for months to celebrate their new married life, switch off from their routine and soak up the natural environment and culture of the Terres de l’Ebre.
At the end of their bike ride, they will enjoy a tasting of wines from the Terra Alta DO and oils from the Les Garrigues PDO. This will take place in the Catalan Art Nouveau Pinell de Brai winery, renowned as one of the Cathedrals of Wine.
Welcome to your Catalonia, Mr and Mrs Taylor.
