Tàrrega Fair

Tàrrega Fair in the Terres de Lleida is the preeminent street arts fair in Catalonia. It has been running since 1981 and is one of the foremost events of its kind in southern Europe.

The hallmark of this cultural event is hosting shows in public spaces and unconventional venues. It’s a grassroots festival for the public and also a huge showcase for buying and selling theatrical productions which drives Catalan performing arts creation and professional artistic exchanges.

More than 80 theatre, circus, dance and other avant-garde performances are scheduled over five days in September featuring national and international companies. Courses and workshops are also run for artists and audiences alike.
