A little poetry and good food in the land of mossèn Jacint Verdaguer. Visiting the house museum of the poet and priest in Folgueroles (Osona), interpret the legacy of this leading figure of the literary language of modern Catalonia.*
The house, built in the 17th century, shows what the life of a farming family was like at the time, with the kitchen furniture and fittings and the bedroom furnishings. It also serves as the ideal setting for learning about the life and work of this writer through a permanent exhibition.
And while you are there, take a gastronomic souvenir from the Plain of Vic that contains a very special bread called coca del mossèn and fuet, the famous Catalan dry-cured pork sausage, from producers in the county.
